I stopped by Golden Valley Tire & Service with a tire that couldn't hold air. I didn't have an appointment and the entire experience was FANTASTIC. The crew was professional both in demeanor and appearance. They were incredibly helpful despite being fairly busy. They prepared me in advance that it may take quite a bit of time since they were fitting me in BUT it is clear that they kept my job top of mind because it took less than 1/3 of the time they estimated and the staff checked in with me along the way. Simply superb. Lastly, the charge for this important service was so absolutely reasonable!! The facility is super clean and comfortable and my family and I will be back whenever we buy new tires or need additional service.

I would not suggest bringing your vehicle here. I only did because I was in the area and my car was experiencing a shake that didn’t feel safe to drive. They messed up the first time “repairing” my vehicle. I picked it up and began driving home when my breaks started burning/smoking. (I didn’t bring it in with break issues so they definitely made a mistake) They towed my vehicle back to their shop to fix my breaks. Second time picking my car up, it drove fine the first few miles but the breaks crunch every time I try to stop and squeak like something’s wrong. When I called to tell them of this issue and ask for more information - they ignored my call and never contacted me again. I felt so taken advantage of and dismissed by the people here. I spent about $1.5k for them to fix the shake, but still to this day have issues with my breaks that they created and didn’t bother to fix. Definitely do not bring your vehicle here. And read other reviews, since it seems like they have many complaints against them.

Jim K was too busy on mobile phone to look up and acknowledge myself as a new customer. When asking for quote for two tires, Jim K exhibited "why are you bothering me" behavior. After giving a quote for 4 tires, the next statement was "you need to divide the quote in half for two tires"--"our system does not give quotes for two tires"-- Jim K did NOT exhibit any friendliness or warmth to a possible new customer--for sure will NOT do business here

Brought my Lexus in for suspension work. Car was bottoming out. Replaced struts all around. $4k later still bottoms out, hard pull to the left that requires counter steer, picked up a vibration. I have been using this shop for 20 years. Ownership changed. Used to be fantastic, recommended to all I know. I don't anymore. Customer service is actually still great but the techs struggle with repairs above and beyond oil changes and tire replacements. I have had so many problems with multiple cars the last year I'm afraid I need to find a new shop. Really sucks, I love the convenience and customer service. But they still need to repair vehicles.

This place really bums me out. When I first moved to the area I was excited to have a local shop nearby. The idea of a reliable neighborhood mechanic was great! Then that quickly changed. Initial routine oil changes were completed decently. Then a couple of years ago I had an inspection done on my vehicle as it had recent issues. During a phone call before coming in as well as when dropping off my vehicle I confirmed with them that it would be a full vehicle inspection. I wanted everything on the car checked out, bumper to bumper, and was promised that would happen. When I came to pick up my vehicle they gave me the inspection report that only covered some major mechanicals and not all parts as promised. I attempted to talk it through with an additional employee/manager to see if we could sort it out and he quickly dismissed it. Essentially telling me to pay up and that they never would have promised a full inspection. So, I stopped going there for a while. I went back a few weeks ago after staying away for a few years. Figuring maybe the deceptive employee was gone so why not give them another chance. I got a routine oil change which took a bit longer than most places, but was
